"Who am I?" Philosophy and dance

This project is a proposal aimed at high school students to explore and discover the subject of philosophy during school hours through the body and dance. Starting from the question "Who am I? We use readings by specific philosophers to experiment with concepts such as moral conscience, good and bad, freedom, etc., through the body. Finally, a stage piece is performed.

This project was carried out at the Institut Martí i Pous in Barcelona with the performance piece: “WHO AM I? Mandatory Selfie”’ (January-June 2024), performed at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació.

Embodyment for the soundsystem

This project is a proposal for collaboration with collectives that have a soundsystem in which they want to explore sound and body together with the public.

The idea is that the team that wants to co-work with us will provide the sound equipment to be able to carry out a sound and body immersion proposal. Through movement research guidelines provided by Nerea Montmany, we will consciously prepare the bodies of the participants to inhabit the music from a new place. We will predispose and root ourselves to question ourselves bodily, how it would be to prepare the body to move through the dense frequencies provided by the soundsystem, and how to let ourselves go through the music with a body that has been previously awake and available.
