Workshops and Labs

Design and facilitation of Somatic Movement Education (SME) workshops and labs for public institutions, community spaces, and integrative health centers.

Combining various SME methods through a lens of relational ecology and restorative justice, these projects are tailored to each specific context to:

  • Democratize and decentralize access to Somatic Movement Education.
  • Create collective learning spaces rooted in movement education and body awareness, mutual care and mediation.
  • Co-create custom proposals that respond to the specific needs of the local area, collective, or host institution.

Work Areas

  • Somatic education and Experiential anatomy workshops.
    Sessions focused on body awareness by exploring different anatomical systems (nervous system, endocrine system, etc.), expanding listening, perception, and self-regulation through various somatic methods.
    Where it has been implemented: Espacio Punto de Encuentro (Barcelona), Espacio Gest (Vic).
  • Spaces for families and youth.
    SME workshops designed to foster our relationship with movement, the body and relational ecology.
    Where it has been implemented: Center for Families with Adolescents (EstarB Service, Barcelona City Council).
  • Artistic mediation and thought
    Labs where the body, experiential practice, and movement become pedagogical tools to explore thought, identity, and creation.
    Where it has been implemented: Philosophy and Dance Project "WHO AM I? Mandatory Selfie" (Martí i Pous High School + Fabra i Coats Fábrica de Creació, Barcelona).
  • Public and community space Initiatives
    Application of bodywork and movement tools for public space.
    Where it has been implemented: Agorà Project: Youth Worker’s Actions in Public Spaces for Social Change (Nexos Interculturales + Barrio Besòs High School. Orvieto, Italy).
